U-Press Apple Cider
Bring your family and friends and press your own apple
cider in a nearby orchard of 50-year-old trees!
After Labor Day, when you reserve a room at Riverwalk
Inn, we will offer to take you to our home orchard where
you will find a twin-barrel cider press, a fresh harvest
of apples, jugs, and all the instruction necessary for your
afternoon of fun, pressing your cider. Press as much as
you want, and pay only for what you squeeze. This is a great
opportunity to introduce your family to a basic country
experience in a pristine setting.
The orchard is only a mile from downtown Chelan and spans
10 acres on top of a hill with magnificent vistas. Bring
a picnic lunch and eat under the trees, overlooking Chelan
and the lake. Guest prices are $4.75 per gallon using our
jugs and $4.00 using your own jug. Non-guest prices are
$5.50 and $4.75, respectively. We will provide you complete
directions to the pressing site, and someone there will
help. U-Press Cider will be open from 12 to 5 p.m.
